As part of SP 4.4 of WeBest PRIN project, a dedicated series of webinars has been developed by academic professionals and experts in Blockchain Technology (BCT) to enhance the digital literacy of farmers in the supply chains of products of Italian excellence.

The objective is to provide accessible and practical knowledge aimed at supporting the digital transition in sectors such as wine and extra virgin olive oil (EVOO), where transparency, traceability, and sustainability are increasingly essential.

Through these webinars, participants will be introduced to:

  • The fundamentals of Blockchain Technology and its relevance to the agri-food sector
  • The benefits of blockchain for traceability and sustainability in wine and EVOO supply chains
  • Real-world applications, case studies, and best practices
  • Strategic guidance for informed decision-making regarding the adoption of digital tools
